Attorney Ronald R. Ward
Attorney Ronald R. Ward, "Ron," considers it his greatest privilege to assist accident victims in their pursuit of fair settlements / verdicts for personal injury claims and lawsuits. The efforts that Ron puts forth on behalf of his clients are geared not only toward fair recoveries, but toward just and sizeable amounts of compensation as well. Attorney Ward is unwilling to settle for anything less than what is fully deserved by his clients, and his recoveries prove exactly that.
Among Mr. Ward's triumphs are recoveries worth millions of dollars. For example, a $6.45 million settlement for a family that was injured in a car accident in the Northwest region of the country; and a $1.32 million settlement for the surviving spouse of a victim whose life was lost due to the consequences of a defective drug. Six-figure results are a regular occurrence in the long line of successes that Attorney Ward has achieved on behalf of his clients during the last 30+years of his legal career, and they are likely to continue far into the future as well.
The personal injury lawyer's motto is, "I want to make a difference," and he has set forth to do exactly that. Recognized among the Top 40 Personal Injury Lawyers in Washington, and included in the state's list of Super Lawyers® since 2003, the attorney has done nothing but leave notable footprints wherever he goes. Mr. Ward is now also known for his groundbreaking role as the first African American president to serve on the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA), where he broke the organization's 114-year trend.
While serving as president of the WSBA, Attorney Ward successfully founded and put into action the WSBA Leadership Institute (WLI), which now serves as a developmental program for young lawyers seeking leadership positions. The WLI pays particular attention to diverse groups of lawyers that would otherwise be traditionally underrepresented. Since his status as president of the WSBA in 2004, Attorney Ward's own WLI program has won national honors, including the American Bar Association Partnership Award (2005) and the LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell® Legal Fellowship (2006).
