Attorney David C. Reed
David C. Reed began practicing law in 1994. David graduated with two bachelor’s degrees from Central Washington University in 1991 (BS in Accounting and BA in Business Economics). In 1994, David graduated from University of Notre Dame Law School. During law school, David externed for the Hon. John Coughenour in the US District Court in the Western District of Washington. He also spent a summer clerking for the Chicago office of Baker & McKenzie.
After graduating from law school, David began in the litigation group of Bogle & Gates and then moved to Davis Wright Tremaine. From there, he went in-house with a dot.com company as Director of Legal Affairs. David then moved to the General Counsel’s Office of the parent company of Seattle's Best Coffee and acted as the Director and Corporate Counsel, until SBC was acquired by Starbucks.
Before associating with J.D. in his practice, David spent time working with Washington Mutual Bank drafting and negotiating complex contracts for goods and services.
David brings to our firm a breadth of experience practicing complex civil litigation with large Seattle law firms and general business with large and small businesses. He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants before state and federal courts throughout the state.
